Job Details:
The University of Colombo is inviting applications for the position of Secretary at the Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS), under the Faculty of Graduate Studies. This is a contract-based position, initially for one year, with the possibility of an extension based on performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A BA degree from a recognized university, preferably in Sociology, Anthropology, International Relations, History, or a related discipline.
- Age below 35 years.
- Excellent written and spoken English and good communication and computer literacy skills.
- Research and writing skills are an added advantage.
Remuneration and Benefits:
- Rs. 26,500/- per month with a cost of living allowance, EPF (12%), ETF (3%), and an additional government-approved allowance of Rs. 5,000/-.
- The contract is for one year, and the university may extend the service based on satisfactory performance.
