Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for evaluating new curricula, courses, and degree programs for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs).
- Assess quality of foreign degrees and coordinate mutual recognition of awards with foreign Quality Assurance Agencies.
- Supervise institutional, subject, program, and library reviews in HEIs.
- Develop quality benchmarks and ensure public information on higher education quality.
- Maintain QA memberships, coordinate activities with international QA networks, and foster self-sustainability of the QAC.
Qualifications
- Senior Professor or Professor with a Ph.D.
- Strong familiarity with Sri Lanka Qualification Framework and international QA criteria.
